About

Rosie is a potter living and working in the UK.

She makes thrown and altered pieces that are soda or wood fired.

After completing a BA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths, UoL, she went on to study a 2 year Diploma at Clay College, Stoke-on-Trent. Here, she developed her passion for atmospheric firings. She sees these firings as an opportunity for unpredictability and spontaneity to become part of every step of her making process.

Her work takes cues from 20th Century outsider art, Eastern European and British Folk crafts, as well as the wealth of megalithic structures found in our landscape.
